I'm an industry veteran with over 15 years creating compelling and high-quality experiences for mobile games, apps, websites, and digitally connected devices. 

Over the years, I have created award-winning and innovative experiences for some of the biggest brand names in the industry, including Geocaching, Nickelodeon, Disney, Nick Jr, Mattel, Microsoft, Scopely,  PBS Kids, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Penguin Random House, Phillips, and Team Coco. I leverage this experience to introduce motivational & game design principles into everything I do. I'm a full-stack UX designer with a passion for creating FUN, engaging, and motivational experiences that stick!  I am especially experienced in the ed-tech industry, Kids’ entertainment,  mobile gaming, and gamified reward systems. 

UX strategy is a passion and a strong suit of mine. I communicate at all levels of an organization and work closely with cross-functional teams and business leaders to define objectives and metrics of success based on real user needs & values - while balancing the needs of the business.  

As a Lean Leader, I have been influential at several companies and teams, introducing new lean activities and principles for continual improvement,  often creating playbooks and templates. I'm a process improvement junky that doesn't get bogged down by process, enabling teams to be their most productive & effective on any project we take on --- which in the end means more time for the fun stuff! 

I love to illustrate and animation. I love to match styles and develop new design systems.  I have acted as design manager/creative lead and then directed other artists, including accurately budgeting for contractors. 

I live and breathe creative challenge, driving innovation in my products and the techniques and technology used to produce them.

I also ride motorcycles, put on the occasional art show, play music with my band, and teach art to kids!
